DIY: Bathroom Cabinet Facelift

About a year ago,  I purchased a reasonably inexpensive cabinet for our bathroom. It’s a basic tall cabinet with two cubbies, one door on the top, and one door on the bottom. It’s really great for storage, but I’ve always thought that the brown particle board on the back of the cabinet looked really, really cheap. I decided to tile a colorful backsplash, using the mismatched Heath tiles we purchased ($25 for a huge box) during out last trip to the factory in Sausalito. The whole project took about two days, which included grout drying time. I think it turned out REALLY pretty….so much better than the brown particle board.
