“Charlotte, 7, had suffered a brain hemorrhage only days before, which left her in a coma. Doctors had just about given up on the little girl and told Neve to say her goodbyes. So Neve crawled into her daughter’s hospital bed for one last cuddle.
That’s when a miracle happened.
As Adele‘s “Rolling in the Deep” – one of Charlotte’s favorite songs – came on the radio, Neve began to sing it to Charlotte … and Charlotte smiled.
“I couldn’t believe it,” Neve told The Telegraph. “It was the first time she had reacted to anything since the hemorrhage. The nurses were astounded and told me to keep singing, and she smiled again.””
