Ca Phe Da – Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Everytime JB and I vist Gingergrass in Silverlake, I’m curious about their iced coffee. I was at Cost Plus World Market, yesterday and picked up one of the metal brewers for JB. We’re going to try to make it a home this weekend. Yummy!

“At its simplest, Ca phe da is made with finely ground Vietnamese-grown dark roast coffee individually brewed with a small metal French drip filter (cà phê phin) into a cup containing about a quarter to a half as much sweetened condensed milk, stirred and poured over ice.”   – Wikipedia
