DIY Snow Globes

The other day we were snooping around Anthropologie and I noticed that they were selling adorable mason jar snow globes. At $25-$38 a piece, I thought they were a little pricey, so I decided to make my own at home. I think they turned out really adorable and much cheaper to make than $25. All you need is a mason jar, fake snow, mini trees (from Michaels) and any other items you would like to put in the globe. I used some small snowflakes and a snowman I made out of polymer clay.

  1. I too walked into Anthropologie the other day and got the same idea, Found everything except the fake snow i went to Walmart, Target, and even joannes fabrics and crafts , big lots and the dollar tree, but could not find the fake snow. Any suggestions of where to find it? And also whats your snowman made out of?

    • Thanks for you comment! I found the fake snow at Michaels Craft store, I also saw it at my Target. Maybe they are sold out in your area? I made my snow man out of Polymer clay (sculptey). You make your item and then bake it in the oven. You can get polymer clay at most craft stores. Good luck!!! Send me a photo of your finished creation!!!
