West Elm Hand-Blocked Prints From Rajasthan, India

The new West Elm catalogue came in the mail yesterday and I’m SO in love with their hand-blocked quilts from India. It’s great to see that they are featuring items that are more hand made and have a story behind them.

“We traveled [to Rajasthan, India] recently to meet the artisans and were so impressed we invited them to create a special collection of quilts and shams just for West Elm. The story behind these pieces gives new meaning to the phrase hand made.”

I’m also really happy to learn that they are recognizing Etsy sellers in their catalogue.

“As longtime fans of the handmade movement, we were thrilled to see Etsy.com grow to become the destination marketplace for one-of-a-kind vintage and handmade items.

This season, we’re highlighting unique pieces from Etsy artists in our catalogue pages. Each handmade work of art or vintage item is available for sale directly from the independent shops on Etsy.com

Learn more about our partnership and find a directory of the featured artists on westelm.com.”
