I thumbed through Joel Dewberry’s book, Sewn Spaces this weekend at Barnes and Nobles. There were some cute ideas, although I felt like there were a lot of good old standby’s like the yoga mat, table runner, napkins……similar to what is in most of the sewing books out there. I might purchase it from Half.com after it’s been out for awhile. His fabric is lovely though….and the photography is pretty.

A Girl & Her Dot 
I do like the fabric choices, and the little birds. Why does every sewing book include napkins? It’s not that hard to sew a napkin! Give me something new!
